Speeding comes off the priority list for Harpenden police

Hertfordshire Constabulary is dropping speeding as a neighbourhood policing priority for Harpenden, after enforcement on Redbourn Road and other routes led to two drivers being summonsed to court. The priority was set after residents asked officers to tackle speeding here and in Sandridge; officers say they will keep dealing with drivers who break the limit, but it will no longer get dedicated attention.
